The Technology task force is improving access to broadband Internet on the Plateau to develop a seamlessly connected community.

Through the Cashiers Connect WiFi network built in 2020 by Vision Cashiers, the public has access to free broadband Internet at several locations around the community. With more than 2,000 devices connecting to it nearly every day, the WiFi network has helped bridge the digital divide in our community.

As Internet service providers improve their networks, the task force works with Property Owners Associations to educate residents on the options available to improve broadband Internet.
